This is the cat - Zebra - sitting on my keyboard. He'll hop up on my computer when he decides I've been working too long and need to pay him some attention. Posted by Picasa

At work and frustrated on a scene. Posted by Picasa
As the below post will probably show you, I play with my hair when I get stuck on a scene. And I rarely blowdry it, so it's still wet from my shower in this pic. I'm up to 89 pages in Shadow of an Oak and not sure what to write next. I have my outline, so I know what has to happen next, but a lot of times an outline is more of a loose guide than something set in stone. I'm also working on my presentation for Hazel Park Academy tomorrow. Hopefully I won't be a boring guest speaker :)

Dance teaching is going well, at least I thought it was but now am not so sure. It's taking up a lot of my time choreographing and lesson planning, though, which cuts into the writing time. I'm working every day between now and December, so I'm a little stressed. Which also makes it difficult to write. The job at the bookstore is fun, and going well, though I need to get a day off when a friend comes into town and it's proving difficult.

Homefinding has been submitted to six different publishers, so you all can cross your fingers with me. It would be really nice to sell another novel, and this one happens to be one of my favorites, so I'd like it even more.

Nothing much else to report.
