Dutton passed on Canal Dancer, so John is sending it out to other publishers. I really hope it sells, I like the novel and think it's the best I've written yet.
I sent Magpie to John for him to read and give me his comments. I'm just glad to have it off my desk.
Homefinding is up to 142 pages, so it's going well. But I'm at that part where I have to start bringing threads together and - as usual - I have no idea how it's going to end. I just keep making things more complicated!
My article in Dance Spirit will be out in two weeks - Dec. 1st. I'm working on my third for them right now.
Two short stories are off in the mail - Deep Enough to Cicada and Secret Seller to scifi.com (who will probably reject it because it's too traditional fantasy, but hey, might as well be rejected by the best).
