I have a shiny new computer *g* It would be more of a fun thing if I didn't have it because my other one crashed. Taking with it everything on the harddrive. So I'm in the process of re-typing all of Homefinding - the 60 odd pages I'd written thus far - and cursing myself for losing my backup CD's. What's even more ironic is that I bought an external harddrive to save stuff on when I bought the new laptop...and I now can't find where I put it!

Oh, and the new laptop's integrated wireless card may not be working from what my geek friends and I can tell. So I have to take it back. Which is just annoying and I didn't have the time to be derailed like this in the first place!

Argh!

I can't find where I packed any of my power strips and extension cords. So my apartment is currently a maze of cords to trip over. Have you ever noticed that if you have three plugs in a room they will all be on the walls you don't need them on?

Physical therapy starts tomorrow. Yeah. I want the Doctor to tell me that it's a simple injury to fix and will only take a few weeks, if that, to heal. Anyone want to take bets on that happening? *g*

And I'm flying home on Friday to visit the family. Last minute emergency thing. So I really don't want to take the laptop back and have them tell me they'll have to keep it for a few days. But I suppose I should have it looked at asap. For the amount of money I spent I should be able to just plug the damn thing in and have it do whatever I want.

Including cartwheels.
