And it's time to update again!

I am here, living in Minneapolis, in an apartment with no furniture. I unfortunately hired the Movers-from-Hell and they have yet to arrive. By the time they're claiming they'll arrive *now* it will have been a month since they picked up my stuff.

My article on cardiovascular exercise for dancers will be in the October issue of Dance Spirit. I'm almost done with the article on flexibility and it should be in the January issue. No word yet on the queries to Dance Magazine and Dance Teacher.

I'm teaching one night a week at an outreach studio in the inner city, which promises to be both fun and challenging, and I have an audition to assistant teach at another studio this Friday. Thus far the "move to Minneapolis and dance more" plan seems to be working well, with three classes last week. And I'm headed off to one tonight.

Started work on the latest YA novel and am up to 48 pages. It's set in Boston, which is ironic since I just moved *away* from there and there are lots of things I need to verify. Heh. Still no word from Dutton on Canal Dancer, not that I expected any given that their option gives them exlusivity until November.

And that is all. I can be reached through dena.landon@gmail.com now in case anyone's interested.
