At 11am today I finished all the work I have to do for the month. Ugh.

Feeling very productive. Finished edits on Soul Stone up to Chapter 14, which leaves me three chapters to go. Of course, they're the ones that need the most work...but it's progress! My neck is killing me, I was a bad girl and stayed up late reading last night, and then spent this morning hunched over a manuscript. Right now I'm typing into Word the changes I made on hard copies. I'd like to finish all my first-run changes today, print out the manusript, and have this weekend to read it over/mark it up for bigger, structural changes. Notice I said "like to" :)

Iced my shin splints last night. Ouch. They were really inflamed after teaching kick-boxing yesterday (though class went well). Tonight is Bible study...but I'm so tired! And the thought of driving back into the city...blah! :P But I'm supposed to go out for my friend Mariah's b-day tonight afterwards, and blowing her off wouldn't be nice :(

I am a freak.

I just went to the breakroom and got ice out of the freezer, put it in a plastic baggy, went back to my cube and tied it to my neck with a pair of dance tights I had in my desk.

I am a freak. :P
