Yeah!
Got the specs for my website. I'm so excited! Chris did a great job, and I only had a few comments on it. So now it's just up to me to go through my pictures and decide what I want to give him to scan and link to from my site. But it's so great to see a concept becoming a reality!
I subbed Deep Enough to the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction and am now awaiting my alasogram :) Yeah, I know I should think positive, but hey, why set myself up for disappointment? This way if it sells I'll be pleasantly surprised. But I'm proud of the story, and that's a nice feeling.
We ended rehearsal last night early - 11pm. A good thing for my sleep-deprived state (you know it's bad when you can't remember any of the hour plus drive home) but a bad thing for the show. We're not even done blocking the second act! Can I freak out now? I asked Joel if he thought we'd be ready to open friday and his response was - "Um, I don't really think I can answer that honestly" :P So not a good sign when your music director isn't confident two days before opening night...
And that's about it. I'm going to do something radical and attempt to get some writing done today. Fingers crossed.
