Whew! Busy couple of days, no time for blogging :(

Pictures from the show are up at www.riversidetheatreworks.com. They aren't that good - the costume lady took them ;) - but I'm the girl in the black dress with the purple fringe - it's just gorgeous, dahling - and the huge, foofy wig. And in the sex scene, the first photo, I'm the one with my back to the camera wearing the white lace thing ;P This is our last weekend, and I'm going to miss doing the show/being on stage. I have no idea how to find out about other auditions in the boston area, as most of the cast members are in school and found out through postings there, but I really do want to do another show. Esp. since, as of the end of this month, all but one of my single girlfriends will have moved out of the state :( But I'm excited because - after she gets back from a novel workshop - I'm going to get to meet my first OWW in person! I hope I don't scare her too much ;P

Bought research books for Magpie yesterday. Fifty bucks, but well worth it. One is on Chinese art and symbolism, the other on daily life before the Mongol invasion. Honestly, my bookshelves are the most ecletic mix of...stuff...thanks to my writing! Books on Iceland rub shoulders with Celtic mythology, next to books on herbs (want sections with healers to be accurate), pleasures and pastimes of medieval england, and all sorts of stuff. Then I wrote seven pages - woo hoo - and worked on edits of Soul Stone. Almost done - and then the real hack job begins! :P

Went to dance class Wed. - awesome routine, kicked my butt. Three weeks off is not a good thing. But I was on that night, and felt it, and that's such a good feeling. All the legs going up high where they're supposed to, the body moving, sweat pooling at the base of my back, the waistband of my pants, and under my, well, what on me, pass for breasts. It just feels so damn good! Satisfying! But I can't go next week because I have a farewell potluck for a friend Wed. night ;( People need to stop scheduling stuff on Wed., that's all there is to it. (What, the world doesn't revolve around me? Since when? How did I miss that memo? :P)

And no phone call :( His number is two days away from being erased from the cell. Sigh. I think I'll stick to the men I write - they do what I want them to! Well, sometimes. Not really. Kind of?
